Ken was born and raised in Wyoming and graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1958. Shortly after graduation, he married and enlisted in the United States Army Medical Corps, where he served for three years at Brook Army Medical Center in Texas.

After his honorable discharge, Ken worked in various technical positions across Utah, Idaho, and Washington. Now retired, he lives in Washington State, drawing on a lifetime of experience shaped by service, dedication, and hard work.
